Bath Price Check is a service operated by Mueller Holdings Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use this website and submit a pricing request, and the privacy rights available to you under U.S. state law and how to exercise them.

Information we collect

Information you provide: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, home-ownership status, project type, and project timeframe.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral source, and campaign parameters (such as UTM tags and advertising click identifiers), collected via cookies and similar technologies.
Lead certification: we use third-party lead certification services (such as TrustedForm) that independently document your form submission and the consent language you were shown, to verify consent.

Notice at collection (categories of personal information)

In the 12 months before the date above, and today, we collect the following categories of personal information, for the purposes described in this policy:

Identifiers (name, phone number, email address, IP address, online identifiers and click identifiers) — collected from you and from your device; disclosed to the professionals and networks that fulfil your request and to our service providers; sold or shared: yes, when we transmit your request to the professionals and networks that fulfil it.
Customer-record information (ZIP code, home-ownership status) — collected from you; disclosed and sold/shared as above.
Commercial information (the project you are pricing and your timeframe) — collected from you; disclosed and sold/shared as above.
Internet or network activity (pages viewed, referral source, device and browser data) — collected from your device; disclosed to service providers for analytics and lead certification; sold or shared: no, except as tied to your request as described above.
Inferences (for example, that you are a homeowner interested in a bath or shower project) — derived from the information above; disclosed and sold/shared with your request.

We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, account log-in credentials, or health, biometric, or financial-account information), and we do not use or disclose personal information for purposes that would require a “limit the use” option. We keep request information for as long as needed for the purposes below, generally no longer than 24 months after your request unless the law requires a longer period.

How we use and share your information

When you submit a pricing request, we transmit the information in your request to our lead-management partners and to independent, licensed local bath and shower professionals (and the networks that represent them) serving your area, so they can contact you with pricing and options for your project. Our current partners are listed on our Marketing Partners page. We also use information to operate, analyze, and improve this website and our marketing, to verify and document consent, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

This transfer of your request information to the professionals and networks who fulfill it may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain state privacy laws. We do not sell your information for purposes unrelated to fulfilling your pricing request.

We also disclose personal information to service providers and processors acting on our behalf (hosting, analytics, phone-number validation, lead certification, and lead-management platforms), which may use it only to provide services to us; to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others; and in connection with a merger, sale, or other business transfer.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age, and we do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

By submitting a request and providing your express written consent, you agree to be contacted about your request by Mueller Holdings Ltd. and its marketing partners, including its network of independent local bath and shower professionals, at the phone number and email address you provide — including by autodialed and prerecorded phone calls and text messages (SMS/MMS). Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to any text to opt out (HELP for help), and you may ask us or any professional who contacts you to stop contacting you at any time.

California residents — your CCPA/CPRA rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA”), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, our business purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed, sold, or shared it.
Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing of your personal information. Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, which also appears in the footer of every page.
Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA. If that ever changes, you may use the Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information link.
Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
Authorized agent. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for proof of your written permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.

We respond to verifiable requests to know, delete, or correct within 45 days of receipt (extendable once by a further 45 days with notice to you), and we act on opt-out requests within 15 business days. To verify your identity we match the information you provide in your request (name, phone number, email address, ZIP code) against the information we hold; we will not ask you to create an account. Opt-out requests do not require verification.

Opt-out preference signals. Where required by law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) sent by your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of the personal information associated with that browser.

California “Shine the Light” (Civil Code §1798.83). California residents may request, once per calendar year, information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes. Email privacy@bathpricecheck.com with the subject “Shine the Light Request.”

Other U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws — currently Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island, and any other state whose law applies to us as it takes effect — have the following rights, subject to the limits and exceptions in the applicable law:

Access: confirm whether we are processing your personal data and obtain a copy of it.
Correct inaccurate personal data.
Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.
Portability: obtain a copy of the personal data you provided in a portable, readily usable format.
Opt out of (a) the sale of your personal data, (b) the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, and (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not engage in profiling of that kind.
Non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Where a state law requires it, we will not process your sensitive data without your consent; we do not collect sensitive data on this site.

We respond within 45 days of receiving your request (extendable once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you). You may make a request free of charge up to twice in a 12-month period. We verify requests using the information in your original submission; opt-out requests are not subject to verification. An authorized agent may submit an opt-out request on your behalf where state law allows.

Appeals. If we decline to act on your request, we will tell you why and how to appeal. To appeal, email privacy@bathpricecheck.com with the subject “Privacy Appeal” within 45 days of our decision (or write to the postal address below). We will respond in writing within 45 days (60 days in some states) with the outcome and our reasons. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General — we will include the applicable contact method in our appeal response.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to measure site performance and marketing effectiveness and to document consent. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how the site works. This site does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals, but it does honor opt-out preference signals as described above where the law requires.

Data retention and security

We retain request information as long as needed for the purposes above and apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This website is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
